Guide to the Mini Khani Pattern
Also Mina Khani, Mina Chane. A grid
pattern of rosettes or floral lattice of round
flowerheads. Traditionally connected by a trellis of
vines. The pattern is seen in Feraghan, Bijar, Veramin,
Karabagh and Baluch rugs.

suspect that it is Bijari Kurd.
| Here we have a Turkmen
rendition of the Mini Khani pattern. I hear some
people use the term Persianate in reference to
these. Oddly enough these come from the Amu Darya
area in Uzbekistan which means of all the Turkmen
these are the furthest from Persia/Iran. What I
think they are trying to say is that these rugs
which we call Ersari or Beshire are different
from other Turkmen rugs. After the Seljuk
