| Shoto
Museum of Art in Tokyo-Japan has been known as
the only museum to have held various expositions
during the past decade, displaying myriad forms
of textile artworks of many nations around the
world. These exhibitions were the mediums
through which the great nation of Japan could see
from close another aspect of art and culture
embodied in Textile. |

Ali Soleymanieh, a
graduate in the Textile field and the founder of Silk
Factory in Geelan-Iran in 1976.,is currently the sole
agent of Miri Creations in Japan. He is the
managing director of Chiyoda Trading Co .
Originally Iranian, it is
over 40 years that Japan has remained Ali Soleymanieh's
place of residence.
His incessant endeavor in
introducing and expanding the riches of Iranian Art and
Culture to the people of Japan, his interminable effort
in association with scholarly groups, and communication
with cultural and artistic societies of Japan have gained
him an eminent and stalwart status amongst both cultures.
He is entrusted as a merited liaison, ambassador and
custodian of art and culture by both Japanese and Iranian
art lovers.

In
order to introduce the Craft Art of the
Iranian Rug, Ali Soleymanieh, in 2002
determined to contact the Shoto Museum of Art and
share his thoughts and ideals with those in
charge. In their introductory meeting, he
introduced the Miri brothers, their Renaissance
in hand knotted creations, their private
collection of the best antique rugs and offered
them the idea of an exhibition representing
examples of the Iranian knotted master works.
