Lot Description An antique Karabagh long rug, South Caucasus
The indigo field with overall diagonal rows of of multicoloured
stylised bold boteh, each containing angular floral spray, flanked by
small rosettes and S-motifs, in abrashed blackcurrant-red border of
bold palmettes and angular leafy vine between ivory floral meander
stripes, outer plain stripes, slightly corroded black, very slight wear
286cm.x 114cm.(9ft.5in. x 3ft.9in.)
