Notes on Mehdi Karrubi
The
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has made it clear that
there is to be no "Mud Slinging" in the
Presidential Race. In an amazing show of contempt and
disrespect Karrubi has disregarded the judgement of the
Supreme Leader of Iran. As if Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei orders were
nothing more than the barking of a dog Karrubi makes the
current race a cheap and tawdry affair. See Mehdi

It may well be a desperation move.
Mehdi Karrubi is neither respected by the Reformist
minded voters of Iran nor by his peers. Even among
students which is the Reformist strong-hold Karrubi
barely polls 5 percent. Scoring little better with any
other demographic Karrubi is beginning to thrash about
making wild moves such as the Mud Slinging.
