The Late Master Mohammad
Sadegh Seirafian
Few men have ever impacted Persian Carpets
more than Haj Agha Reza Seirafian and his seven
sons. The Late Mohammad Sadegh Seirafian the
third of the seven sons created a reputation for
being one of the great designers and producers of
Persian master workshop carpets. He has had a
major part in making Seirafian
Rugs of Isfahan the best known of the best of
Iranian rugs.
He was particularly noted for his floral
designs such as the Flowers
& Butterflies Isfahan Rug. He also drew
on the talents of the best of Isfahan designers
including. the
Late Master Haj Mosavar ol Molk, Ahmad
Dadkhah, The
Late Master Allameh, and Master
Ahmad Archang.
Sadegh Seirafian died Feb, 20, 2005 and is
survived by his sons Amir Naser, Mahmoud, Karim,
and Mohammad Mehdi.
